Australia recognises the importance of health assessment and identification of priority needs during emergencies. The Australian Government is proud to work with our ASEAN partners to further enhance military medical assistance capabilities in the region.

On 16-18 October, the Australian Embassy Bangkok partnered with the ASEAN Centre for Military Medicine (ACMM) and Australia’s National Critical Care Trauma Response Centre (NCCTRC) to host the Health Emergencies Impact Assessment Course, where 27 military medical personnel and operational coordinators from all 10 ASEAN countries participated.
